Homes built by Florida Green Homes, LLC are Hurricane and Tornado resistant, Fire retardant. Our exterior walls, ICF construction, have been engineered to withstand hurricane winds up to 200 mph. Exterior walls are built with horizontal and vertical steel reinforcement rebar and solid poured concrete. FEMA recommends this method of construction for it’s ability to resist wind and water forces, but also for it’s ability to stop flying debris. It is simply the best!

ICF homes have up to a 4-hour fire rating. ICF homes virtually unaffected by the flames and heat.
